Audra grew up training and showing horses - her parents having bred Hall Of Fame inductees and Champions in every event - so her passion and dedication to continuing the family tradition is no surprise. She began her "professional" career training horses in 1998, at the age of ten years old. By that point she had already trained several of her own Youth show horses, and decided to start training outside ponies and horses for additional income. She knew then, even from such a young age, that training horses was what she wanted to do.
After obtaining her Youth Supreme Champion in 2001, by competing successfully in just about every event offered... Audra decided to focus her attention and dedication to Futurity and Western All Around Show Horses. She molded her training business - Audra Snyder Show Horses - around training top of the line Western Pleasure, Western Riding, Trail and Reining horses.
In January of 2010, Audra ventured away from Indiana, to learn from the industry's top AQHA, ApHC, and APHA trainers. Through this experience, she has developed a unique range of training techniques that have helped structure her own program. Over the years, Audra has trained and shown countless world caliber horses to success in the show pen. She has coached Youth and Amateur champions from Open Show circuit titles to national, international, and world level champions in events ranging from Western Pleasure, Trail, Western Riding and Hunter Under Saddle to Reining, Ranch Riding, and Barrel and Pole Racing.
In 2011 - Audra trained the High Point Hunt Seat horse at the Appaloosa World Show - with three World Champion finishes, and a top five finish, out of only four classes shown. Her 2015 All American Quarter Horse Congress Hunter Under Saddle entry was the only Appaloosa to make the finals of the Limited and Open divisions of the Two Year Old Hunter Under Saddle Stakes.
October first of 2016, marked Audra's return to the family facility located in Noblesville, Indiana. The 105 acre premier horse facility is State of the Art, and located conveniently to all major highways and interstates of Indiana - just 45 minutes north of the Indianapolis International Airport.
Audra has a passion for the Futurity horses, and the process of bringing a horse along the right way- so they will have longevity and happiness in their show careers. Audra has developed a training program that allows her to bring out the best in all of her horses.
